$80 Donation-Will send one Form 2-4 (9th-11th grades) student to school!

While school fees for the first 4 years of secondary school were abolished in 2016, costs of uniforms, school supplies, lunches and additional required contributions continue to make school unaffordable and therefore unattainable for many.  The first year of secondary school is the most expensive as uniforms, sports uniforms, text books and school supplies must be purchased prior to starting school.  The following 3 additional years cost $80 per student which covers school lunch and additional required contributions. This donation will therefore cover school fees for one student in Form 2, 3, or 4 (equivalent to the 9th, 10th and 11th grades in the USA) at Nkoarisambu Secondary School on Mt. Meru.

Without scholarships, at 12-13 years old, these children would join the 92% of Tanzanians who do not receive a secondary school education, putting them on track to fall into the 89% of Tanzanians that live below the international poverty line of $1.25 per day. Please help us change that trajectory.
