Hi, our names are Will, Henry, and Ellie. We are 10 years old and in a 5th grade homeschool group. Last October, Will traveled to Tanzania, Africa with his mom.  While he was there, he volunteered at Mnini Primary School and met some pretty amazing kids. During his time at the school, he found out that only one student out of the 37 in the 5th grade classroom had ever read a book. The kids were really smart, but because of the poverty level, they couldn't afford books. In fact, the school can't afford books either.  

After Will returned home, we decided that we would try to raise money to help establish a library at Mnini Primary. We had a zoom call with the head teacher at the school to discuss the needs of the school. We learned that the 1st through 5th grade classrooms needs textbooks and books.

Our goal:

1 reading book per child at the school for a school library (500 students). Estimated cost per book is $3.50.

1 textbook per child for grades 1-5 (300 students). Estimated cost per textbook is $7.00.

Bookshelves for the school ($150.00 total)

Total goal: $4,000.
